We Need You

We are 100% volunteer run which makes volunteers the heart of our Club.  No amount of volunteer help is too small so please consider donating your time.  All volunteer hours go to support the needs of our skaters and can qualify you for competition credits by filling out the Competition Subsidy document below.  

Volunteer Requirements are as follows:

• There is a 8 hour volunteer requirement for each Home Club family/individual membership per year.  Coaches, Collegiate, and Honorary Members are excluded from this requirement.
• Full members must contribute a minimum of eight (8) hours of service per membership year or pay an annual, upfront service fee equal to Full membership dues (additional $150).
• Adult members must contribute a minimum of eight (8) hours of service per membership year or pay an annual, upfront service fee equal to Adult membership dues (additional $125).
• Volunteer hours must be recorded on a log and submitted to the Volunteer chair. Only Club sponsored events qualify for the 8 hour volunteer requirement.
• Members who do not meet the volunteer requirement will be placed in bad standing and will not be able to renew their membership, compete or test at any club until the obligation has been met. 

Become eligible for competition subsidies through volunteering! Here are just some of the ways you can contribute to the CFSC community by helping with:

• Serving on the Board or a Committee
• Competitions
• Test Sessions
• Coach Appreciation Days
• Member events

For every 5 hours you volunteer (after the required 8 hours), you can earn $25 in competition subsidies.  See competition subsidy application for more details.  Club members who pay the full membership fee, and are not required to volunteer, may use all volunteer hours towards competition subsidy.
